Cebu Pacific’s 1st Travel Leaders Night in Cebu

I had a blast celebrating Cebu Pacific’s first Travel Leaders Night with fellow travel bloggers, vloggers and influencers last November 13, 2018 at Balay ni Busay!

The night featured a lot of fun games and laughter with fellow bloggers and friends. Everyone in the guest list had the same love for traveling and it was great to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

CEB Travel Leaders Night in Cebu

Ms. Charo Logarta Lagamon, VP of Corporate Communications, kicked off the night with exciting announcements regarding Cebu Pacific Air. Ms. Charo shared how CEB is intent on making Cebu a bustling travel hub. Currently Cebu is the biggest travel hub after Manila, serving as the gateway for many travelers across Visayas and Mindanao for international and domestic destinations.

Aside from that, Cebu Pacific announced its newest international route: Cebu to Macau! Cebu Pacific now has 5 Cebu direct international destinations: Macau, Incheon, Narita, Singapore and Hong Kong. Cebu Pacific currently carries 27 domestic and international destinations via Cebu Mactan International Airport.

The event also highlighted two of their campaigns: #MakeFirstMomentsHappen and the Juan Effect. Make First Moments Happen campaign launched last September to celebrate real life moments with the airline. The Juan Effect cis CEB’s campaign on helping the environment. On that night we were asked to make our personal pledges on how we can help the environment. I chose to bring my own water bottle everywhere I go.

Fun-filled Night with Travel Games

Later on, we were asked to go to respective groups based on what we picked from the ballot box. In light of the Cebu Pacific spirit, we were later asked to come up with a pun-ny namebased on our team name. We were team Macau and came up with “Maca-WOW!” It was fun to see how the others came up with theirs:

  • Maca-WOW!
  • Dumaget-here
  • Sure ka gaw? Siargao!
  • Cebeautiful with a heart
  • Durian Sakit Pero Lami
  • Bacolodis
  • Seoulmates

We all collaborated and competed as a team and win exciting prizes. We had no idea what the prizes will be. Cebu Pacific was so secretive that they didn’t even let Jiggy the host know… So the prizes were really between a Cebu Pacific umbrella or an international flight somewhere!

We were still very competitive, nonetheless!

After five rounds of games, the tally of scores came out and the prizes were announced. On the screen, 8 CEB destinations were in place and all teams were asked to choose their destination of choice from 1st to 8th place.

Luckily, we came out 3rd! The team decided to go for Macau.

In the end, we all got a free flight to somewhere so it was great! We had an amazing time and congratulate Cebu Pacific Air, Big Seed PR and SELRAHCO PR
